Yaxu is a Beijing-born multidisciplinary designer, creative director and visual artist. Her work contains a variety of disciplines from branding to interactive design, publication to exhibition design, packaging to 3D and motion design. Her practice focuses on unconventional and thoughtful work in the worlds of culture, music and fashion. Her clients, past and present, including artists like Björk, Sol LeWitt, and brands like Microsoft, Harvard, GUCCI, and more. Her work has been recognized by Tokyo TDC, New York TDC, Asia-Pacific Design and HKDA Global Design Award etc.
In addition to her design work, she is a visual artist, exploring visual imagination and emotional narrative by computer generated movements, she has done several audio-visual live performances at fruitySPACE, postpost 2.0, DADA club, Groundless Factory, Goethe-Institut and All club in Beijing and Shanghai.
